Practice has ended for today at Madison International Speedway. Not
many cars took to the track but in the second to last, it was
on top with a time of 17.909
seconds (100.508 mph) with Dan Fredrickson in second with a time of
17.936 seconds (100.357 mph).
Only eight cars went out for the final run of the day and it was Tim
Schendel at the top with a time of 17.721 seconds (101.574 mph) and
Kelly Bires in second with a time of 17.871 seconds (100.722 mph).
Fan gates open at Noon tomorrow with the ECHO/Oregon Cutting Systems
“Quick Cut” Qualifying at 2 p.m. The popular ASAMT Autograph session at
3:15 p.m. Racing gets underway at 4 p.m.
Remember the first 1,000 fans to come through the fan gates will
receive a special Joe Shear Autograph card.

The next event for the ASAMT will be on Sunday, May 3 at
Madison
International Speedway in Oregon, WI with the running of the Joe Shear
Classic presented by ECHO Chainsaws.
