the state.

Summer Campout @ Vista Royale in
Bancroft
For those
club members that are interested in camping, the PSOS have held a campout for
the last several years at Vista Royale in Bancroft. We again have tentative plans to be at Vista Royale the weekend
of June 13-15 (Father’s Day Weekend).
This has normally been an excellent time for club members to get
together and relax. We need to finalize
the details at the May general membership meetings. We have at least three (3) couples that are planning to
attend. We would certainly welcome any
other club members that are interested in camping and having a good time. Please call Brian or Diane Fitzpatrick @
341-0601 for details.
Portage County Snowmobile Map
The Portage County Snowmobile
Alliance is asking that each club assign one or two members to be on the
committee for the new map. At the PSOS
March meeting we had at least one member expressed interest in being on the
committee. Ideally two (2) members
would be great. It is not hard and it
is not time consuming. Give us some
help!!

There are pictures from our
2008 club trip to Holiday Acres in Rhinelander. We had a great time.
Corridor 15 @ Smiley’s
We would like to consider having
access to Smiley’s from the east immediately off the corridor.
I strongly believe they would
derive more business with better access and properly placed signs.
We may need a volunteer to
work with the Arnott club and the affected landowners.
Club Outings 2009
Give some thought if we want
to return to Holiday Acres in Rhinelander or what else we may have for
choices. We need to make a decision,
and book early in the fall. Do we also
want to return to Pine Ridge of Wautoma for a weekend? Club members and friends had an excellent
time at both places.
