The installation of officers
took place at the April meeting. The
list below consists of the 2009 officers:

Currently Eric Liazuk has two
years remaining on his Director position and John Herek has one (1) year
remaining on his Director position.
Dave Kreutzer has completed his 3 year tenure as a Director. In light of the new president, Sheryl Pryne
has accepted a nomination for the position of Secretary and Trish Bey has
stepped down due to the commitment in the Bey family to take over the
president’s role. Thank you Sheryl!
Presidents Greeting
Hello
everyone, yes I’m back in the position of President. Amazing you miss one
meeting and bam, you’re president. All kidding aside I’m honored to be your
president. The Plover Spuds on Snow has been one of the high lights in my life.
The club has nothing but first class people willing to do what it takes to keep
the club rolling. I will do my best to serve the club.
I
would also like to thank Brian for the wonderful job he has done over the past
7 years! He is a true leader and it has
been inspiring to work under his leadership.
Summer Campout @ Vista Royale in
Bancroft
For those
club members that are interested in camping, the PSOS have held a campout for
the past several years at Vista Royale in Bancroft. We again have plans to be at Vista Royale the weekend of June
19-21 (Father’s Day Weekend). In the
past, this has been an excellent time for club members to get together and
relax. We will discuss additional
details at the May general membership meetings. Please call Brian or Diane Fitzpatrick @ 341-0601 if you have
questions.
If you plan
on coming out to the campground for the day Saturday and the group dinner
Saturday night, please let Diane or Brian know ASAP so that there are enough
steaks ordered. Everyone will also plan
on bringing a dish to pass for this meal.
It was decided at the April meeting that the club will again cover the
cost of the steaks. There will be lawn
games and camp fire fun in the afternoon into the evening for all those who
camp and all those who decide to visit then drift off to sleep in their own
beds at home that evening. We hope you
can make it!!
Plover Trail to Smiley’s and the
Elizabeth Inn
We continue
to obtain information regarding the section of trail recently abandoned by the
Arnott Star Riders.
Finally, we
ask all members to bring ideas relating to the 2009 Swap Meet, to the next
meeting. We will proceed with planning
this event and ask all members to help during the planning stages. We want to make this event bigger and
better!
