For our third event of the season we saw very nice temperatures of 28 to 30 degrees overcast skies just perfect weather for the racers and the spectators. Bob and Angie our hosts from Club 10 were just excellent, they had refreshments and eats out along the rivers edge along with a big bomb fire. Races ended at approx. 3PM and we will try and always run them with in the 2-hour window.

We had some excellent races in all divisions along with a few major accidents but no injuries other then a few beat up sleds. Thank goodness for the two weeks before our next race at Rusty’s. It was nice to see that we had a total 5 sleds in the pure stock division. Its nice to see the parents getting out the old iron and letting the kids compete. We also had a new winner in the kids Mod Stock Division; this race was very close through the whole race with Pierce Kauth taking the win.  Cody “ the Kid” Knutson is still undefeated in the men’s mod stock class. Cody appears to have the field covered so far this year. The Men’s Open Mod saw a first lap crash between the points leader Jake The Snake and second in points Racing Jason with the points leader being knocked out of the event. Racing Jason went on to win with Rapid Rick closing in on Jason and Rocket Man Roche a close 3^rd. We had a very good 50/50 raffle, which helps support; our club and we had an excellent crowd on hand as well.

On Tuesday February 12^th we will have a meeting at Club 10 at 7PM. We hope we have a good turn out because we need to discuss our awards banquet and some other club business. We welcome everyone involved as a member, sponsor, etc to come to this meeting.
