Big Boy Kitty Cat Series
Race summary for 2-16-08

The Big Boy Kitty Cat Series has sure been lucky for our race weather. We saw mostly sunny skies mid to upper 20’s for temperature, just excellent for the racers and the fans.

We had an excellent spectator turn out and many of the team’s sponsors were on hand as well. The club took in $229.00 from the 50/50 raffle plus an additional $29.00 from Royce Rossier (Midway Machine) and Rusty kicked in an additional $75.00 to the club. Please everyone when you see Rusty and Royce give them a big thank you for their generosity.
 
Again we had some excellent races in all events with Jordan (Wild Child) King taking the Kids Mod Stock. Cody (The Kid) Knutson continued his dominant ways in men’s Mod Stock and believe he has already sealed the championship for this class. Rapid Rick Ciesewki won the men’s Open Mod feature which tightens this point’s battle between Rapid Rick, Racin Jason and Jake the Snake. We had another new first time winner in the women’s race, Suzette (The Jet) Trezbiatowski went from the back to the front with our OLD Women’s champ in chase. Talk around the pits is everyone is wondering if Charging Cheryl has lost some of her nerve after the hard spills she has had this year? Or is the Gal getting a little too old? Our last race at Anchor Bay will hopefully give us some answers. One other thing on the Women’s race is we had wrecked sleds on each straight away; makes for a lot of cleanup work for us guys.
 
Our last event for the year is coming up at Anchor Bay on March 1st. Speaking of Anchor Bay it was nice to have Dennis Moon and his whole family back at the track and participating. We think though that the old man needs to hand the racing over to son David and the dad needs to wrench a little harder. Dennis your thoughts?

Another reminder our race awards banquet will be held at Club 10 on March 22nd starting at 7pm. We will have a Pizza Buffet, cocktail hour, free beer, and awards. This party is for all our series sponsors, team sponsors, and everyone else who has been involved in anyway with the Big Boy Kitty Cat Series.
