Meeting Minutes

November 13, 2007

Anchor Bay, Biron, Wisconsin

• Amy Kolo will make scoring sheets and qualifying sheets.
• Rick Rossier was voted treasure and Rick will also develop new website. The website address is www.bigboyseries.com
• Series will try and keep one flag man/woman for the series. Cheryl Rossier will do most events with help from Weiner, Jason, and Rick Rossier.
• Mark Koosh will be series inspector when available, otherwise it will be Weiner and Rex.
• Announcing will hopefully happen from Bob Beir, Jack Henricks, Rex, or any other volunteers.
• Amy Kolo will do scoring and points. Amy will train other volunteers at the track to help do the scoring at the tracks.
• Waivers will have to be signed at each race event for every driver. Rex will make copies of these waivers. Amy may come up with another design.
• All decided that the entry fee would be raised to $20.00 per sled for the entire year. Competitors only competing in a few events would be charged $10.00 per event.
• Weiner will provide the orange track cones for each event.
• Rick C. would provide race flags.
• Rex will provide PA system for each event.
• 15 year olds will be considered adults and will race in adult classes.
• 14 years old and younger will compete in pure stock classes and mod stock classes.
• Kids events, we will try to align by ages depending on numbers of competitors. i.e. 5 to 8 year olds would race together and 9 to 14 would race together.
• Just a reminder that the sled gets awarded the points, not the driver.
• Traveling trophies will be awarded to first place finishers in mod stock and open mod.classes. Also season end champion’s trophies will be awarded for these classes, along with hard luck driver award.
• Kids first place trophy will be awarded along with competitor trophies for all kids.
• A first place trophy will be awarded to the women’s race.
• Anchor Bay will be Little Pocono opener. Slo’s will be called Slo’s So Fast. Club 10 will be called Little Talladega. Rusty’s will be called Little Indy; Anchor Bay closer will be called Little Daytona.
• Reminder first come first serve on numbers. Numbers already taken are Jason:17,12,24, Weiner 8, Scott 9,10, Roche 99, Jake 21, 90, Reed 46, Dennis 3,6.
• Because of the poor turn out to this meeting we are scheduling another meeting at Anchor Bay on Dec. 11^th at 7:00 PM. Please - everyone try and make this meeting or give Rex a call at 715-342-8159, 715-340-0822, or 715-341-4283. on your race intentions for the year. We are trying hard to keep this series going!! enjoy a little winter fun with family and friends. We for sure need more sleds in all divisions.
